    Hello,

next tuesday i am heading from germany to las vegas. I will stay for 9 days, at MGM Grand and Casino. Are there any Shops for Videogames ? Im mostly interested in Retro and Merchandising not actual gen consoles. Is there anything i should visit near the strip to fullfill my needs ?

I have never been to the usa, so i dont know what it will look like on the streets^^, i could imagine that there are mostly gamestop, and other big and boring videogame sellers....

Did some searching for you. The A Gamers Paradise locations were as of 2011 so I'm not sure if they are there anymore (probably are). That gamestop should be down the street from where MGM Grand is. I hope you enjoy the US!

    A Gamers Paradise:
    1550 E. Tropicana Ave Ste #4
    Las Vegas, NV 89110
    (702) 432-4700

    Gamestop
    3200 LAS Vegas Blvd S, Ste a-31

Was just there a couple of weeks ago. Not sure which Gamers Paradise location that I was at, but it is the one that is across the parking lot from the Pinball hall of fame, which I would highly reccomend stopping by if you have the time. I brought the wife along and she isn't a gamer at all, but she had a lot of fun there. They got oinball machines dating back to the 1950's to present day. Most are only 25 to 50 cents a play and all the money goes to charity,. Bring 10 to 20 dollars to blow here. Well worh it.

About the store...get ready for sticker shock. They are super expensive and anything desirable is well above ebay pricing. They do have games for almost any system you could imagine.

Still worth checking out though. You'll need a cab to get there as its too far off the strip to walk it. Especially when you are going as it will probably be over 115 degrees out side.

Might not hurt to check out any second hand thrift shop (salvation army, goodwill, ect.) if you see any down there. Also see some of the Flea markets as well. (That's were a lot of members have gotten some big scores.) Haven't been to Vegas in years but I remember seeing a couple thrift and flea shops while I was there.

Second on Gamers Paradise, hit the Pinball Museum next door too while you are there.
