Remember them? They released some awesome games. It's funny to think they were one of the biggest game companies in the 90s, and now they don't exist at all!

I do man, what I meant with stuck in 90s was the mentality that making gaming tournaments is innovative, its all over the place now!

I was expecting an actual comeback...

I wasn't actually referring to the stuck in the 90s part, just reminding people of VIE's existence. Yeah, this is nothing new, haven't they held that one gaming league for years now?

There are a few, and cash prices in the $100,000s are quite common.

And let's not forget virgins Aladdin on the mega drive. That blew away Capacom's SNES game. It was in the late 90's when they started lose it I think. Cool spot 2 was a load of crap compared to the original.

Virgin were just a publisher though. They didn't make any of those games, they just published them for developers.

I'm surprised anybody would think so fondly of Virgin Interactive.

At the time it seemed to me like a majority of the games they published for consoles (in the 90's at least) weren't all that great. Not to say they didn't publish anything worthwhile.

I'm guessing Virgin is looked at differently in Europe, probably because they published more big name games over there.
