http://www.gamespot.com/news/6163542.html  I'm so glad I don't have to buy a ps3 to play this game. TAKE THAT SONY AND YOU EXCLUSIVE!!!!!!!j/k. Anyway im glad its getting a 360 port, now I will be able to play this great title.
Yep, somehow I think we all knew it was coming to 360 sooner or later. Poor Sony can't seem to catch a break these days. lol.
Bad news but not as bas as it could have been. Sony still has a roughly 4-5 months of exclusivity and where VF5 really counts (Japan) the 360 doesn't.
The 4-5 month exclusive isn't a huge advantage. By the time the game launches in February, Sony will be lucky to have sold 2 million systems over in Japan. And that's assuming their supply issues have been sorted out by then. In reality, it's not so much the game that matters, but the fact that companies are now making exceptions to port valued franchises to other consoles...even to a brand that hasn't had much success in Japan. Capcom has already revised its business strategy based on the 360's success here in the States, so it's only a matter of time before we see more events like this occuring, while also possibly helping to slowly change the perception of the Xbox brand in the eyes of Japanese gamers.
It seems the only that will make me buy a PS3 someday is Gran Turismo 5... And that's actually the only great looking game on the system (specially the latest GT HD video).
Wow i just read it.. man what is sony doing? They need to make dev kits better for the 3rd party to develop with, they say they are that much more powerful how are they bringing these games to a lower powered machine? Something isn't right and i am loosing interest in things sony is marketing. First tv's now games... Sony is handing off the baton.
I agree with you on the AI department. As for car damage, Kazunori-san already said GTHD would have it. So i guess it's confirmed for GT5 as well. I guess the main problem are not the dev kits but the cost itself. The mandatory Blu-ray isn't helping them much either.
Well, if GT5 does keep the car damage i'd be more interested. Now they just have to update the 'race-the-line-and-ignore-everthing-else-AI' that seemingly hasnt changed since GT1. But everything I read about Forza 2 sounds shit-hot, and iv'e already got the wireless 360 wheel for that ...
Shame MS didn't get this as an exclusive first, would of helped them with the JPN market. Good to see Sony isn't so invincible afterall
It'll help shift units after the new year, when production starts to ramp up. Makes me less likely to get a PS3 and more likely to get an Xb360 though, I must say. That and the bad backwards compatibility.
Well the first Forza was great (specially in the customization department). When i finally get my 360, i'll get it for sure.
How is the 360's wheel? I'm thinking I might pick one up after the holidays(sorry for going off topic)
It is a damned nice wheel though ... I would rate it higher than my PS2 Logitech GT4 wheel....and that got rave reviews...also, this topic is sorta off target now ;p
