Now that E3 is virtualy gone....... I leave you with this Ever Pictured This Scenario? The Nintendo Virtual Boy Making It's Return......... Trying It's like a Dead Relative Standing At Nintendo's Reception Booth Taking The Spotlight It Brought Curiousity "Sorry hun..... I have NO IDEA what it is......."
So touting a piece of dead hardware around can get you hot redhead chicks? I better get a VB right now!
That guy's face looking back at the Virtual Boy is priceless  It's as if it's a true WTF expression  Yakumo
beautiful! back in 2003, when we (planet virtual boy, dreamcast-scene and lik-sang) were attending the games convention, we did very similar pics. got inspired by those? if it's ok with you, i'd like to put that photos on the site.
Poor Virtual Boy. Such a unique system. And it still has the best version of Space Invaders (well, its my personal favorite anyways). And Mario Clash was quite good as well.
Surely the most expensive version of space invaders, there is something wrong when the original machine isn't that much more expensive then the game...
Mine still stands tall over the highest bookcase in my room, keeping watch. Sometimes, younger friends-of-friends ask what it is. I've had younger visitors over too, and they look at it with a puzzled curiosity that's just too priceless. (The... screen... You mean it's ALL RED?) Man, I love that machine to death.
Wario is an amazing game for the system. The VB remains my favourite of all the machines I own. I want a Vectrex though.
That makes two of us. It's like the previous-decade equivalent! ... or wait, wouldn't that be the AdventureVision? Either way, I'd love to own one of those.
lol. I remember those. this one is my favorite http://www.vr32.de/content/tradeshows/gc_2003/images/vb_flash/full/IMAG0130.jpg
I wish I would have bought a few VirtualBoys when they were selling them new for 20$ or so. Nowdays they fetch pretty insane prices when in good or mint condition. I never really got to play more than maybe 5 minutes with VB.
Tell me about it: my local electronics store had like 8 of them, along with several brand new Jaguars. Intead of selling them for less than $50 they decided to destroy them with a big wood chipper. It was horrible:-(
