I just updated the pics of my Virtualk Boy fullset:19 japanese titles + the 4 exclusives US titles (3D Tetris,Waterworld,Nester's Funky Bowling and Virtual League Baseball)! I'll make, hopefully, this week end new updated pics of my PCE Hucard/CD/SCD/ACD/Supergrafx/Nec PC-FX fullset (450 titles factory sealed, all games with spine cards)
Not got the US titles as well? not just the 4 US specific? Also the 2 demo carts? As these are not really soooooper rare...
I'm just interested in japanese stuff mainly. But since there was 4 US exclusive titles and there were easy to get,i got them. About the demo carts, they're not part of a fullset..you mentionned 2,when in other forums they mentionned 5. There could be 10 different ones, you'll never know exact count. So i'm not looking for that.
Beauty of a Virtual Boy collection is if you play the VB for 20 minutes you'll see double and your collection will be twice as big.
Awesome stuff!! I've been thinking about starting to collect Virtual Boy games too so I was wondering what are the rare/expensive games? I know Virtual Lab and Space Invaders are two pricy ones, but I don't know about the others.
I had that thought as well... then I discovered that there are two fuckers I did not think about: SD Gundam Dimension War and Virtual Bowling. They make a complete collection impossible for anyone w/out enough VB-dedication to spend $1000+ per game (although I heard that Virtual Bowling has pretty good gameplay).^^ In fact, you could buy an average used car for the bottom row of Adols collection.
In Euros,i'd say,for mint complete copies: Space Invaders 150-200€ Virtual Lab 300-400 (i saw somebody sell 1 for $700 on Ebay, unbelievable) SD Gundam Dimension War 550-650 Virtual Bowling 600-700
Nice collection Adol, and at one time I saw Space Invaders selling for around $700. That was sometime in 2001.
