Another issue is hygiene. I wouldn't want to wear a headset that someone else had been wearing against their face and hair. Who knows what you might catch?

Arcades, in my experience, are usually pretty warm and people get sweaty etc. Anyone that has owned a Virtual Boy will know what I am getting at.

 

What other games would make such a benefit from VR than FPS? a RTS? a RPG?

The FPS is by nature a VR game, because you're looking trought the character's eyes. Other genres dont behave that good in FirstPerson like shooters do. For example, racing games...

 

Well, both the genres you mention would benefit from responsive perspective changes - you don't need to be inside the character's head to benefit from instinctive view changes.

just aquired su2000 and su 3000

HI everyone this is an old thread but i thought id ask here,i just got a su2000 and su3000 but they are faulty.
su 2000 has format d error not found and the su3000 i havent played with much needs new cdrom and the headset isnt going.
does anyone here have any infor on these machines,i really would luve to get one of them going
