Visiting Japan next month. Looking for a store with retro magazines

Hi guys,

I've been in Asia for a while and thought I should make a short trip to Japan before going back to Europe.

Does anyone know of store in Akihabara that carries a lot of old video game magazines like BEEP etc?

Any other Tokyo recommendations would be cool too, although I guess I'll read the back topics for that.

Edit: Also, any shops with a lot of hibahin stuff would be neat to visit.

 

Love to help you out but I know sweet FA about the Tokyo area. I do know that the Manga Soko chain carries old mags but have no idea if there are any in Tokyo. Book Off also stock old magazines but again I don't know if any of the Book Off stores in the Tokyo area will have what you want.

 

Seconding Book-Off, if you want used books, they're your store. They carry a mix of stuff, so no guarantees!

Best spot for mags is Mandarake.

 

What Gaijin Punch said - Mandarke have a good selection of used mags,
Also Super Potato have a pretty big selection too, but can get quite pricey.
