As with the last upload this is a data disc which is not self bootable so there is no real need to make a disc image. Also this method allows people to pick and choose which files they want, when they want them amongst other benefits.

The files mostly contain various packshots, screenshots, renders and promotional videos for the titles of the time but you may find some of it useful or interesting.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The archives use no compression, are locked and come complete with a recovery record to aid their long term preservation. As as a result of this they come with a little extra bulk. In the age of cheap mass storage and relatively high speed broadband connections this should be a non-issue.

There is no torrent, tracker, magnet link or any other form of Peer to Peer (P2P) download for this release so be weary of any alterations which may have been made upon further redistribution.

I'd have had a lot more to upload if I went out more :p Hopefully I'll be doing the rounds this year. I'll be repacking the DTL-S4023 to include the recovery records just as soon as I find what I did with the disc. It was right next to my laptop the other day but now who knows... :S If I didn't sell my 3DO M2 SDK's I could have uploaded them as well - I didn't even create a backup for myself =/ I found a Dreamcast SDK today too but the disc had melted/bubbled to become useless :( Anyhow I may have another interesting disc or 2 in the next few days.

Out of interest which part did you like here? For me it's the Evil Genius media... I actually sort of got the game for free in 2004 I think it was from Fileplanet's Direct2Drive or whatever with some weird credit promotion scheme they had. I must have earned the points when I used to be a subscriber. The Nexus shots look pretty cool too though I never played it.

As you have shared some SDK, even though the links are dead, people still grabbed them so your money is no good here. If you could multiupload to keep them alive that would be nice though ;)

I'm not using 3rd party hosting because I like quality control. I'll leave stuff up for at least a month or two for people to get it. If it is still deemed significant they can rehost it or whatever, I just don't have the space for it myself and really don't want to associate with a third party host unless I have to :p

I don't know what this means. Does it matter which HTTP server delivers the files..?

I mean like I want it on a server I own, not some third party server like MegaUpload or RapidShit.

hehe personally I think that could sometimes get you into trouble quicker as some hosts will shut down if they get a DMCA request without giving you an opportunity to fight it as abandonware/archiving.

Scumlinks are bad for the wait and ads but good because they don't give a fuck what you upload because they get paid per view / click. If the link dies resubmit and edit your OP. Small hassle, bit more so if it is a larger file but the system works ;)
