    hi ,

back to my electronics after a week stoppage :)

wanted a little help please, just finishing up the turbografx express project, but wanted please voltage reference across the marked caps
    cc 703
    cc 704
    cc 700
    cc 505
based on my memory (which isn't very reliable too ) the values have changed for unknown reasons.

so I would really appreciate if anyone has got already an opened console at hand to share these voltages with me

    thanks alot

That wouldn't be a problem, its 6v , however it seems that my psp psu is a Chinese clone, so it gives noise as well, and during my early parts of my mod as I mentioned in some of my posts I was using an old Chinese defective variable-voltage psu , it was giving crazy voltages, it even caused the gameboy to give smoke before I got rid of it ,for now I use another newer chinese variable voltage type, works fine, no over voltage, no over heating, but gives moise on screen too,

I repaired the battery housing and thats the only way I get a clean picture now.

but I will have to replace the variable resistance vr501 because it got softened by adjusting it left and right (no idea which one to use but i will do trail and error with it :) )
    thanks alot :)

A flaky ac port can cause odd contrast swings check that too, it’s very common and easy to fix
