What you think of vr gaming, like thoughts wise is it stupid or cool?

I really want to know the community thoughts on the so called future of gaming.

Amazing. It's not a gimmick but you really have to play a proper VR experience for it to make sense/click. To be more specific you have to play a full spatial vr experience to get it.

Yeah for home usage they are really expensive still. Luckily if you live near a major city places are popping up where you can go use VR units. There are also custom built vr experiences showing up as well.

I've tried the ghostbusters one out and it's really great.

I have a Vive and its amazing. I like to use it kind of to work out. The free game The Lab has an awesome castle defense style game where you have to shoot stick people with a bow and arrow. I also like Tilt Brush a lot.

To a certain extent VR is pretty great, but I've yet to see a real "killer app" so to speak. It seems that for a lot of PSVR owners specifically Resident Evil 7 was that one game that made VR make sense for them, but I don't like horror games at all so I have no interest in it. Rec Room seems to be the other big thing that people really like and the fact that it's completely free probably boosts people's opinion of it.

I have a PSVR but I have yet to open it; got it for just over $300 with two move controllers, the PS camera, Skyrim VR, and VR Worlds. I'm excited to try out Skyrim VR but if it doesn't tickle my fancy, I'll probably sell it and get something else. VR Worlds looks short and gimmicky so I might not even try it and just sell it to buy Job Simulator, which is a game that I did manage to try on a friend's PSVR a while ago and thoroughly enjoyed. I also played the Star Wars Battlefront VR mission right before Rogue One came out, and that was very immersive - it made me want to try Elite Dangerous in VR.

So I guess VR is pretty cool, but IMO it's not quite there yet. I'm going to wait for the next generation of Vive/Occulous to come out before I really get deep into it, aka. setting up a VR room, having a dedicated VR PC, etc.

You're just waiting for 'VR Waifu' for anime titties. That's the real reason you're in and out of Japan.

    JUST IN!
