Just give us $10 and we will manufacture a sincere thank you in October and send it to you! *shipping fees not included

A $15 poster so I can put it on my restroom's wall, neat! I just hope it doesn't give me the urge to actually own a Oculus!

But I already bought 2 Classic Game Room t-shirts, I don't have time to use all of them. Well, unless it's some kind of virtual reality addon that can make me feel in the heat of the battle and it's 100% cotton.

The Tee shirt + Poster? THE ULTIMATE GAMING EXPERIENCE*
*Sincere thank you and Oculus device not included.

THE ULTIMATE GAMING EXPERIENCE COLLECTOR'S EDITION. +$40 for signatures? Greedy much?

Yep. Cool prototype, can't wait to put my hands on it and show off on assembler, the ultra rare Oculus Rift prototype put together with hot glue... oh wait it already sold out.

That would be interesting for preservation purposes... kind of a Net Yaroze feeling to it, maybe I could put my coding skills to test?

Unecessary SDK quantities for development houses only. Meh.

Cool. But wait a minute... what about offering the FUCKING OCULUS RIFT so average joes can donate and enjoy it? The disassembled oculus is the closest choice, but it was offered only 100 units... and it is a fucking PROTOTYPE.

In the Tex Murphy kickstarter, I RECEIVE THE TEX MURPHY GAME.
In the Cheetahmen II kickstarted, I RECEIVE THE PRODUCED CHEETAHMEN II CARTRIDGE.
In the AVGN movie kickstarted, I RECEIVE THE DVD OF THE MOVIE.

    ... why can't I receive A FUCKING OCULUS FULLY OPERATIONAL? I DON'T WANT A CRAPPY POSTER!

    EDIT: THAT'S THE T-SHIRT DESIGN?

    Another kickstarter flop.

I swear all of the intro videos on kickstarter all look the same- black text on white background with fade in/out interviews with developers/sponsors. Oh yeah, and the occasional demo scene or blueprint.
    It's getting old real fast.

No body cares about VR any more... The reason why Virtual Boy failed in the first place.

Not everyone can enjoy it and let alone it nearly makes your head explode.

Meh, let me know when they have something like this:

The opening screen of the movie says that Virtual Reality will be in widespread use at the turn of the millennium. Er...they weren't exactly right.

I think that Virtual Boy failed for a few other reasons than people not wanting VR. How about the fact that it was two colors (red/black) for one, let alone the actual quality of the system...

To be honest, I'd love to have a game that was based around Lawnmower Man style early 90s CGI. (the Lawnmower Man FMV game doesn't count because it sucks) I'd pay at least $10 for a Kickstarter to make such a game. Hell, even though I really don't know how to make a video game, I'll make a Kickstarter. For $100,000 I'll start development and for $250,000 I'll make an Ouya version too.

Anything short of Star Trek level of immersion will probably fail. I would be happy to have 8-bit level graphics if that is all that can be mustered so long as the experience allows me to walk around and interact with this world.

Soon enough we will have our first holo-addicts!
