Searched heaps of sites and even ebay for a custom case for my GC, does anyone know where to get ahold of one? Or do I simply have to wait for one to appear on ebay? I just want a better looking colour (white or silver preferrable), now that my case has lot's of scratches on it, though being able to play full size DVD's would be nice.
Team Xecuter made a series of 'IcedCube' replacement cases. They allowed for full size DVDs and were available in silver, gold and various transparent colours. I'm sure they also had a removable panel to allow easy access to your mod-chip, iirc. Good luck finding anywhere with them in stock now though. Edit - Found a pic with all the colours:
Are these really not available any more? I used to know a guy who had a crate of them. Probably still in his barn.
someone on ebay is selling IcedCubes (including the whole GC and controller) for 64.3293 GBP (shipping included) I can send it for you if you want it.
I managed to buy one from an online shop in Canada recently (last few months) it took an age to manage to find a seller that actually had stock and wasn't just listing an out of stock item. The shipping was pretty darn expensive, but I got what I wanted. Sorry - this isn't a great help, but I can't remember the name of the store at the moment.
There's this spanish site that sells IcedCube cases and Viper cases for 4-8 Euros. Shipping to the states is 30 Euros, so it isn't a great deal.
I have a purple iced cube. Always wanted a black one but was never able to source one. Would still buy one if I could find it.
I'm possibly in the market for one of these but the Viper one looks to be the better of them. Any idea where to buy them from? Preferably within the UK but cheap shipping works for me too.
i did a shite ton of searching today and i found a place that has them in stock they also have iced cubes if you search on the site http://www.bluedisc.com/gamecube-case-xcm-crystal-blue.html
I had a Viper GC case one time and I think the quality is on the poor side. The IcedCube are better quality in my opinion. So you get what you pay for in my opinion.
Hmm The Icedcube looks like it will be a ballache to gt a DVD in or out though. The Viper looks like it has plenty of space to get around this problem.
