neomatrix: are we talking about quake 1, 2, and 3 ? and the expansion packs ? since they are quite easy to buy on the net (and get the cool and new engines from sourceforge)
or are we also talking about the quake engine games like Half Life ? Sin ? Kingpin: Life of Crime and Hexen 2 ? and Return To Castle Wolfenstein with the Quake 3 engine as a graphics engine ?

there is an obscure game I remember (not heretic 2 ) where the Quake engine was used and it reminded the danish reviewer(in pc player) of a Quake expansion pack and not a quake game but it was a quake engine game (quite badly made) but i can´t remember the name of the game.
