I have a few N64 docs ("kantan") and some unofficial N64 docs... but no official stuff on the RCP. Wasn't all official dev done using libultra?

just little about RCP find in n64 Online Manuals 5.0 :smt009

    RCP
    = Reality Co-Processor.

    RCP task scheduler
Controls the execution order of tasks processed in the RCP. There are two kinds of tasks: graphics tasks and audio tasks, and the latter have priority of execution. If an audio task arises during the execution of a graphics task, the graphics task is interrupted and execution of the audio task is given priority.

    graphics (RCP) overrun
The condition where the processing of a graphics task in the RSP is not completed in 1 blank.

    graphics task
A graphics task collects various graphics processes (the graphics display list) together into a series of procedures. It is created by the CPU and processed by the RCP.

    microcode
Microprogram instructions put together in the processor (RCP) to control the actions of logic units, registers, control flags, etc. By substituting different microcode you can add and modify functionality.

    resource
Something used by a thread or a task. For example, the CPU, memory, an I/O device, and the RCP are all resources

    ~ and here is......hehehehe...

    Uhm...i don't think i understood what you mean :smt009
.....anyway, i had some more digging in the whole thing i got and discovered that the books im looking after should cover the microcode of the RSP (the infabulous F3DEX etc used for managing the display list)....i fear that the books in question are internal to SGI.....arrr

Why oh why do I get the urge to use the word "panegyric" as much as possible?

not sure... but lets just say I had a bad run in with byuu in the past... it resulted in about a year of therapy. Be careful around him... he got to me while I was maliable, besides... he worked for AOL.... lol. My friend scanned in his kantan docs for me, He printed them out. I gave you the small list of what I have via PM. And no I have nothing to do with Neill :p though I am involved in the same kind of business as those guys... though its not really a business.
