Taking a look at the games that came out, I was duly surprised to see "Sango Fighter". Anyone else here ever play the PC shareware version that came out around 1996-97?

    Awesome game.

    ...

Ok, I was able to locate somoneone to sell me an A'Can system. I suppose I can eventually scan the game boxes / manuals / etc. and post if someone's interested...

Oh... and just for correctness' sake: Sango Fighter (PC) was released in 1993, not 1995/1996. A sequel, Sango Fighter 2 (PC) was released in 1995. Sango Fighter for A'Can is not authorized by Panda, as they were out of business @ the time of the A'Can release. Also, Panda was sued for producing Sango Fighter and therefore wouldn't have been able to authorize its release on A'Can anyhow [!]. There also exists a version of Sango Fighter for Sega Master System, also unauthorized. See SMS Power! for more information on THAT release.

Ok! Glad to have inspired some creative discussion here... and yes, I did ignore the various (post-whore) comments made for me to update my message board profile. Why should I? If someone wants to sell me a system or trade with me, they can contact me privately and get my information. Why should every Tom, Dick and Larry on a very public forum have access to it? :smt009

How much are you paying for the acan, if I might ask?

And, if I may be so bold, any possible way you could like, get a hold of a few of them, and distribute them amongst your fellow board members (for a reasonable price that is?)

    Because I want one.

  6. Indeed, I'm in the same boat as Hawanja - if you were able to get your hands on a few with some decent software, I'd be willing to take one from you as well. :-D

The info you're talking about is your country - noone can pin you down by saying you're in the US! And as for a bit of info about you personally, because it is polite to introduce yourself to a forum and get to know people... its called being a part of a community.

I for one think that you could have some very interesting information to share, and would be interested to hear it. It is just a shame you have to have such a defensive attitude to someone who was trying to get to know you and welcome you to the community.

I am only able to obtain one Super A'Can system at this time, and a limited amount of games to start with. I can only venture a guess that getting additional games will be a rather difficult procedure, but I aim to collect as many as I can. From what I've heard, the system is rather remarkable. Maybe the games aren't, with questionable developers like Funtech (whom I had never heard of before) and AV Artisan Corp. (who brought us Funny World / Balloon Boy for Genesis), but I won't know until I receive and try the system. I'll post a report here, just in case anyone is interested, and I'm sure to have nice scans of the game boxes, etc. when I can get the time to acquire them. I'm always hungry for information on game systems that are otherwise unheard of; perhaps some of you folks are, as well. If you can't own the system, it's at least nice to know a LOT more about it. Maybe, when you learn more info, you won't WANT to spend the money to get it anymore! Could it be that we are silly and foolish, and the Super A'Can is just a joke? Possibly. Wouldn't that be a kick in the pants? :smt043

Take the SuperVision, for example. No one in their right mind should ever consider buying one of THOSE - not even for a flat penny! Yet I myself am a rabid collector of such trinkets... boggles the mind, doesn't it?
