wanted: jap. "Sonic" Saturn (LE ToysRUs Edition)

I'm looking for a white japanese "Sonic" Edition Sega Saturn console.
The one with a little black Sonic on the top which was sold only in ToysRUs stores.

 

hope you prepared to fork out a lot.
I paid quite a lot for mine last year when no one knew about Sonic Saturn

 

NeoGeoMan sold 1 a few months back. Not sure why you would want though, they're incredibly ugly - it's a really stupid special edition.

 

and there was another one sold on Yahoo Japan few months back...
think the buyer since then sold it on eBay...

Lived in Japan 7 years, I speak Japanese, and the Saturn is my favorite system. I hadn't heard of it until DJ98 put his up on Ebay. It is NOT that expensive in Japan, and is not a collectible. The only reason they're pricey on YJ from time to time is when foreigners get wind of them. Is it hard to find? Yeah, pretty much, but doesn't mean it's going to run $500.

There was a store in Scotland selling these unboxed for 300 pounds.I was under the impression this was way off the mark and they were not that rare.He then threw me out of the store.I wasn't even being sarcastic about it, I was just asking him to check if his price was right with a bit of research.

They had two in that day, so it can't be that rare.

 

No offense to the Scots, but if there's two of something video-game related in Scotland, I think it's required to ask questions.

 

Yes both unboxed too, he may have just got a sonic sticker printed and stuck them on the saturn's.


Then again maybe he didn't,this guy has some seriously rare shit in his store, and look at the stuff Funkstar deluxe sells in Scotland. :smt045
