If you do then I'd be interested in buying them from you.

I should have the Bootleg Sampler, Christmas Nights, Sega Flash 1, and possibly some of the other PAL titles in amongst the Saturn Planet stock. I haven't catalogued demos yet, so I'll have a dig around for you.

    Saturn Demo Discs

I don't have any of the Saturn Super discs, but I am now in doubt as to whether the Sega Flash series really did continue after Vol. 7 appeared in Europe - were there futher Japanese installments (as some collectors' sites have suggested) or is there some confusion with the Super series? Either way, my only reason for getting the 8th disc is because I have been told that it contains footage of Sonic The Fighter and Saturn Virtua Fighter 3. However, I've also learned that it was released in May 1998. The former game was briefly listed on SOJ's website as having a release date of May 5th, and AM2 delivered a finished copy sometime late in April, so it's possible that it may actually be genuine Saturn footage. On the other hand, the first revision of Saturn VF3 was submitted to management for approval on the 3rd of July, which means that for the disc either prototype code or the arcade version was shown (as was the case with Sega Flash 4). Having this disc would answer so many questions, not least of which - if the footage IS from the Saturn, that is - would be just how well Sega's 32-bit console could handle both of these technically demanding titles...

are you sure about Flash No. 8 (JPN)?
Maybe on Flash No. 8 (PAL) if there was one?
can't see any mention of those on the disc? :-(

    Saturn Demo Discs

Well, after some investigation I have updated my wanted list - it seems that the "Sega Flash Vol. 8" that I have seen listed on some sites is actually part of the Saturn Super series. At least I now have proof that Sega Flash continued after the seven European volumes, though I would like more information before I show any interest in collecting these. According to the www.sega-saturn.net demo disc database, Saturn Super Vols. 7, 8 and 9 contain footage of Sonic The Fighters and Virtua Fighter 3. I would be more than interested in getting these, plus the second disc as this supposedly contains interviews relating to VF2, Sega Rally and Virtua Cop. Why don't I just put the entire Saturn Super collection on my wanted list?

I think apart from Flash Saturn the others were usually come in clear CD jewel case with no insert? Well the ones I saw were like that factory sealed... most of shop demo/trial I've seen also came in that way as well?

    cheers

    Saturn Demo Discs

I wasn't entirely sure myself if the Saturn Super discs came in any sort of packaging, but I've edited the list again now I know that they do not - this should make finding them a lot easier (I hope). Does the rest of the Japanese Flash series come in cardboard slipcases like Vol. 8? How come we didn't get anything like that in Europe?

The Saturn Super discs came in a hard back magazine. I have the 1st Saturn Super magazine in my UK home but the disc is here with me in Japan. The magazine called Super Saturn was only about 50 odd pages thick. The discs came in one of those sleeves with the cotton back and see through front. that's it. No boxes or any covers unless you count the magazine as being a cover.
