Wanted: Wondermega

Not sure if I can afford one, but I'm interested in buying a Wondermega. Either the Sega or the Victor version is fine, although the Sega version is supposedly rarer so I'd sooner go with the Victor version.

I saw one for $180 once on ebay, so I should be able to get one for a reasonable price; haven't seen one for a while though. Plus, it seems like ebay is a tad bit pricier than other places at times.

I sold one a month or so back for 500 pounds or was it 450? Can't remember now. It was a mint boxed Sega version. A member of this forum bought it. So that's the sort of price you should be looking at.

I know that the Sega version is that expensive, but shouldn't the Victor version be cheaper? How much have you seen that version go for?

 

the Victor one goes cheaper...seen two of 'em unboxed for 130$ and the other one for 120$, so somewhere about that price...maybe even less, because it was ebay.de

 

Aye if you have a quick scan on ebay there is a few Victors knocking araound. As with everyone else Im desperate to get a Sega Version. £450 is about right. Got cash waiting if anyone has one spare...

 

Man, that's stupid. Why would you pay so much more for a product that is almost identical except for a logo and some lights? I mean, I'm as irrational as the next collector when it comes to stuff like this, but you have to admit that's a bit ridiculous...

Also, I just searched eBay for "wondermega" and found nothing. Where did you see them? I'm talking about the US site, by the way.

 

THeres some on Yahoo Japan but you'll have to pay a lot for the postage. At least coming from Yahoo japan the chances of it "really" being mint are quite high.

I would pay so much because..... I want one. Simple. It may do the same as a Jcv/Victor but then it also does the same as my MD1MCD1 or My MD2MCD2 combos. But so what? I like it I want one for my collection and to play games on. I can have it in my room and it still looks good today.
Oh and I have enough cash for one.

JVC X Eye consoles are easy to get hold for less. Ugly too.

I have an unboxed Sega Wondermega for sale. It's in perfect working condtion but has a few scratches on the case - nothing major. It's comes with 1 controller, composite lead, S-Video lead and Sonic CD.
