Wanted XBOX DEV PC | FS: SCPH-10000 PS2 + External HDD

The external HDD is available quite easily in Jpanese second hand stores.Alot of people who first bought FF11 had to buy the externa unit as they had one of the first three ps2 models made.I have an scph 10000 and it works superb to this day as well,I have used it for cdr and dvd r as well and still I have no problems,apart from a noisy dvd drive but it was always noisy from day one.

As i was saying the original buyers of this drive are now trading in for new models with internal hdd so the price of the external hdd will continue to fall.It is not as rare as some people think and with the handful of titles that actually support th hdd ,why would you want to splash out excessive amounts for it??I'll give you fifty bucks :smt040

Not to be nasty and rude here mate,but the condition of that stuff for a colector is appaling,taty boxes,scuff marks all over the ps2 etc...It's not worth too much in that condition,I would cut your losses and make some money back off it.I mean if I was to sell my ps2 scph 10000 with it's scratches and marks on the back of mine where i had to prize it open to install the mod,I would have to sell it for 50 dollars cause of the marks on it,and although they are not noticable,I am a collector and this is not ebay,by that I mean I could not take a bigger price for it off a fellow collector as once it is marked as yours is as well,the value plummets significantly.

 

Thanks for your info, but a junked ps2 is worth more than 50, i do admit it could be in better condition, and you can find them AT times in second hand stores, but i recently checked, its all waiting lists, and there around 150.

Dunno, lookin for around 450 now, if you can get it cheaper, great! (get as many as you can!) But if you figure out how much it would cost, + tarrifs and shipping, you would be spending about the same if not MORE importing it from HK/JAPAN, and would take a lot longer

 

Fair enough mate, I just checked on current prices of the hdd and your right if they are boxed and complete they go for up o 100 dollars in japan,mint of course,so after shipping on a heavy hdd,you are lookin at 150.
