Let's say someone was a current nintendo licensee with a working warioworld.com login ... Have they removed all of the old information from that site, regarding Nintendo64 and gamecube, and nothing is left online but DS and Wii ? Or are all the old documents and techpubs, etc., still available to valid warioworld.com logins ? (I don't know any current licensees who can check this for me, but perhaps someone here does...)
I've always wondered this myself... it seems most Japanese corporations (Nintendo specifically) are pretty good about keeping old stuff around for posterity. I wouldn't be surprised if the N64 / GBC stuff is still there. It'd be interesting to see what they have
It's not as simple as to just give Nintendo $2000. If it was, many of us here would have done so years ago. I guess you were joking but your game development company must meet many criteries set up by Nintendo to even be considered to become a licensee. Shiggsy
it is all gone and was not acessable if you not have this exact licence. A Wii Dev has no access to other Areas for example.
Yes, I'm aware of the criteria - the $2000 + wget was a joke. But I was seriously wondering if the old info was still online for qualified users and it is interesting to know that it is not.
Plus proof of about a 500k to a million dollars in reserve cash, insurance and other proof (like previous work) I have my old license here somewhere and it details what is required.
