Just got this email so be careful.

    Dear PlayStation(R) Underground Member,

You are scheduled to receive the Holiday 2004 Demo Disc
including the playable Viewtiful Joe 2 - please take note.
It has just been brought to our attention that there is a

from your Memory Card(s). If you have not yet played the
Viewtiful Joe 2 demo, please remove your Memory Card(s)
from your PlayStation(R) 2 computer entertainment system
before you load the Holiday 2004 Demo Disc.

Sony Computer Entertainment America would like to express
our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may have
    caused you.

How could it glitch your memory card? I didn't think PSM Demo's allowed you to save.

Probably the same bug of the first PS2 released in Japan. Ridge Racer V caused it, if i'm not mistaken.

Star Ocean 3 did something on the line of the memory card corruption glitch, if I'm not mistaken. The JP version, that is.

There was a glitchy Lunar SSC demo in the US, also... not sure whether it'd corrupt the whole memory card or just its own file, though.
