Well, I for one was just being funny. It was a silly question, and I doubt more than a handful in the world ever really believed it.

That's a bloody good point!! We have a famous musician here in New Zealand that believes the Mayan calendar and he's building an ark specially for the end of the world!! :lol:

Clearly unacceptable punishments but you pretty much have to be a hypocrite to claim only some parts of the bible are worth believing in while others aren't. At least IMO.

Well I had my Raptor party where we watched Terminator 2 and Jurrassic Park to prepare for the RAPTOR for no reason then.

 

What I find funny is he pushed the date to October now. What happened to the huge earthquakes and the suffering of people up until October? I guess it's alright to omit that supposed "fact" since we'll now just completely skip to destruction of the world without any of that.

Yep, guess THAT part of the Bible was wrong, but the world ending part, it's gonna happen. Makes total sense we can cross stuff of the list, doesn't it.

 

I really don't know why all these "profits" make HUGE public announcements for things like this??

Wouldn't it be better to go on the TV and say "it's possible" or "I believe" that the world will end on X date, rather than saying without a shadow of a doubt that it "WILL"!!
