Watch out for bootleg club nintendo items

I had a friend in russia order some Gamecube controllers so he can do some four player action, turns out all of the controllers were bootleg. They were damn good ones too but as soon as you touched the analog's or felt the weight you could tell they were cheap knockoffs. The fact that all nintendo logos were not even on the mold was kinda a dead give away as well.

 

anyone got any pics of the fake stuff. i have seen some fake mario figures on yahoo japan but they are obviously fake. are these items any better.

 

Once upon a time I got some fake PS2 controllers; they looked exactly the same as real ones and also felt the same, at first. After using them for around 4 hours the analogue sticks began to stiffen and the more I used the controller the harder it got to move the sticks. Inside it was obvious, all the solder joints were bad and the PCB layout was totally times.different to that of a real one. Well at the end of the day it wasn't so bad because I used the motors within the fakes to repair some real controlers that I had dropped too many times.
