Been around for years. Was hitting the 'Blue Meanie' a dozen years ago! A friend once tried to make one from a guide he'd found somewhere..involving 4 soldering irons and numerous other DIY tools.

    Chillum ftw!

I'm going to go ahead and guess this is talking about vaporizers.

Edit: Yep. I still haven't tried one yet, though. I might end up buying one if I transfer next semester.

    Agreed

And before you ask, I don't drink alcohol, or coffee for that matter.

Is this all you had to contribute? "lol i don't do drugs"

I want to hear a serious answer: if it doesn't hurt you in any way, why do you care what people put into their own bodies?

Yeah, ok, weed is 100% harmless...

Oh hang on... how do all those people I know who get mad paranoia attacks, or suffer mental problems after only using weed for years reply to this? I know that shit messed me up, so unless you are saying this as a "fair weather smoker" and just do the odd toke on a Friday night, then there's no way you can say weed is perfectly harmless.

Actually haven't we already had this discussion about 6 times already in the last few years? I seem to remember after a few days it gets to personal insults, then someone threatens to leave, and in the end nobody wins the argument.

No one ever said it was 100% harmless.

Panic attacks happen, it means you smoked too much. The first time I had one I thought I was going to die. It has happened to everyone I know, it's just part of learning your limits. I've since learned my lesson (don't smoke so much).

What type of mental problems are you referring to? My short term memory sucks when I'm actually high, but otherwise I feel just fine. The only evidence of cannabis "causing" mental disorders is that it may bring out schizophrenia in people who were probably going to get it anyway (i.e. one of their family members had it).

I seriously did not want to get into this discussion again, but I get upset when people start posting things that aren't relevant to the thread. I understand not everyone uses drugs. I really don't care what you do with your personal time, and I don't believe it's anyone elses business to comment on what I do with mine (in this case, smoking weed).

Just because you (or a few people you know) had a bad experience doesn't mean it's terrible for everyone.

This topic is going to go places! (thick sarchasm) Tachi is right, this topic has been discussed before and all it leads to is personal grudges. Its already on a downward trend so before anyone gets really upset with anyone, locked.
