I haven't been able to reproduce it yet but I got an error on my 360 this morning. I turn it on and I got the Call Customer service screen and 2 red lights were flashing on the bottom. But I turned the system off then back on again and it's been fine since. What was this error? I didn't see anything in the screen (or I didn't look long enough) My system is fine now but I'm still all like WHAT WAS THIS. I'm guessing it's an AV problem since sometimes the signal doesn't go through. I know it wasn't overheating becasuse it was off for several hours.
If you are not getting video signal when this happens, then it's the same thing that happened to me before my 360 went blind (no video, gpu problem). Mine didn't overheat either, I had to change the thermal paste anyway, and also tear a hole on the side and stick in a big fan/turbine and it came back to life. Despite that, it worked for a couple of days, now it just works with the dashboard and freezes (overheat my best guess) after 10-15 mins of playing any game. I'll have to give it another try fixing it when I have some spare time. Good luck with your 360, hope this helped.
I saw a call service screen. But sometimes I don't get a picture and I have to turn the system off unplug the cable then turn it on. It's well ventilated. It's still under warranty but with all the awesome games I've been getting it would be a real minus to have to redownload everything to a new system. It could be AV it could be nothing. Or I might soon be on my 3rd 360.
