I was dreaming of a halloween party and someone made me choose between two costumes. NAUSEA and ASPHYXIA. I chose the latter, then put on a horrible and tight mask over my head, and was indeed asphyxiating.... Then I looked at myself in the mirror and looked like shit. Then thought, to hell with this, I will not wear this shitty mask. And threw it away hard on the ground- Then I found a costume like this one, and wore it http://individual.utoronto.ca/roninkengo/pictures/phantom.jpg The whole dream was upsetting, because the person (a former friend of mine) making me wear the NAUSEA and ASPHYXIA costumes kept arguing with me and telling me I was a thief.... Then when my boyfriend arrived he had to go get the Phantom of the Opera costume, and steal it (since they were already calling us thieves). But the bullies threatened him with setting fire to his Harley Davidson motorbike (WTF?). We then proceeded to leave the place in a cab, that had been previously occupied with Cher and Barbra Streisand. Can anyone make anything out of this? Or is it sheer insanity like I think?
My dreams are really messed up but I never remember them. I just remember how confused and pissed off I am when I wake up.
It's probably some previous experience + x. I like dreams that feel like a Lynch-movie. I got those very often during the last couple of weeks when I was in bed with a fever... the whole reality was turned upside down. Fever is a great surrogate for drugs, only that it's just a giant bummer. In one of those dreams I slipped through a hole in the earth and found myself in a strange dead world full of mud and dark fog. I apparently found a ghost house and a woman that I used to know (but died some time ago) began walking me through the corridors. There was nothing really happening apart from that I knew this woman is dead and we were talking about if ghosts were real and I was even the one who tried to prove it to her because she doubted it. At a random point I woke up, but it wasn't much better, lying there with the flu and freezing. Looking back though, the sickness offered some mind-boggling experiences even if they were very uncomfortable.
My dreams are often fucked up, I wonder how "normal" dreams are supposed to look like. That one time someone was shooting at me with a bazooka using motorcycles as projectiles. then we played some strange card game with the weirdest set of rules (mixture of the Russian Durak, Poker and Rummy.... don't ask) I don't remember how, but I won, and he left me alone. Upside of my dreams: Very entertaining, and thank god they are just dreams! Downside: Often I cannot tell it is a dream. When I asked someone in my dream to pinch me, it actually hurt!
I remember a dream where a little toy shot me with a bazooka, he didn't hit me, but then my head starte to inflate, and in the end it exploded. I woke up afterwards.
I often dream about the end of the world. There's a lot of different scenarios. Some have been motivational, some have been really traumatising. I also almost always dream of supermarkets and shopping centres. Really fucked up stuff, too.
One time I had a dream that we had contacted some planet by sending signals to it we could reverse time and change stuff. However, it soon back-fired and was about to destroy us. The world government had decided to nuke it, when we launched space nukes at it, some fell back on earth and turned it into a Fallout like setting. I remember freaking out in the dream as one landed in my back-yard, but it was a dud. Afterwords I soon met up with my best-friend from real-life and we traveled the waste-lands until we came across this house and a person outside of it. He offered us transportation, just to come inside for a quick moment. We were led downstairs where a group of people stood. They had pointed guns at us. We were forced to hold some bullets in a hand and pick the one out that had the paint on it. Before I had closed my eyes, I memorized the one with paint and what it felt like without getting noticed. I had to go first when picking the bullet.. I picked it, and was set free. I had to watch my friend pick now, and he was about to be shot. I had then grabbed one of the people's guns off the table, shot a guy in the fast twice, another in the head, and emptied the rest in another. There were two left, I threw the empty gun into one of their faces, he stumbled and I grabbed his gun. I quickly shot the other in the face, then killed the one guy execution style. Then I looked back at my friend and helped him up. Not long after that, I woke up with a head-ache..
I hate waking up when I'm about to 'engage' a hot girl.... I'm sorry. I mean I hate it when a girl is about to wake up...
Lately I've had some really fucked up dreams involving fucked up methods of sex "Note to self, never watch Japanese porn at 3AM just before you sleep" *coughs.. sarcasm.
My cousin (who is as weird as I am) helped me analyze the dream The conclusions are: - The costumes: Nausea and Asphyxia mean what I provoke in my former friend, and the Asphyxia specially means something to me because of fear of breething complications in my rhinoplasty -The phantom of the Opera costumes are sexually related and refer to a fantasy I'd like to fulfill -My boyfriend having a Harley means that in my mind, he is the coolest guy ever (and that is a fact)---- So it was all weird, but pretty self explainatory. Now Cher and Barbra Streisand refer to my many gay friends. They symbolize them in the dream, since they were not a part of it
Just had a dream where I came off the stargate with SG-1 after finding a possible cure for some disease on another planet, and then I was having tea with Teal'c and Captain Carter. Then, I stole a plane with Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson, awesome dream!
