So i just got my first Saturn, mainboard is a 837-11892-01AL. Successfully 60hz perma modded the system (not intending to play PAL games on it). Generally it runs fine if it gets started the first few times, games boot fast and run well, also no problems playing over longer periods. But as soon as i restart the console a few times it starts to show brighter horizontal wobbling stripes on the picture. From this point on also the laser starts to stop working, still does a few reading tries and the red laser disappears. takes 20-30 mins until it works again atleast, so i guess its a thermal problem, likely some cap probs somewhere. All caps look fine even on closer look, nothing leaked so far. Before i start to recap the whole console: has anyone here had anything similar and can point me maybe in the right direction to save some time ?
