So I bought an SNES off of amazon and it is having a few graphical issues. For some reason, there is a line in which half of the sprites are missing. The background and dialog boxes are fine, but the sprites are cut in half. The only game that has shipped and I have in my posession is FF2 so it might just be the cart. I've cleaned both the cartridge and the snes itself. HNI_0060_MPO.JPG HNI_0059_MPO.JPG HNI_0058_MPO.JPG Help would be appreciated.

Could be a bad RAM chip or broken traces, or worse scenario is bad PPU graphics chip. You are going to have to open the SNES to help further diagnosis.

You can't be sure if it is the SNES, it could be your copy of FF2. If you had another game or another SNES you could access you could rule out either.
