Slowly as time has gone by, the small but passionate community of westerners using Japanese computers from the 80s and 90s has come about. I hope to gather that knowledge here , and to help the community grow. I look forward to seeing more of this kind of gaming. The forum guideline is simple: We allow posting of any non-current gen (Windows 7) software given the age of the machines.
My first contact with the pc88 was the beginning of Square. Games like Alpha, The Death Trap or CCB. Sure some years later, but i like to see first steps of videogaming. Very interesting. Hope to see here more about the NEC PC.
Let me know what you want to hear. I have experience with most of the retro Japanese PCs, just don't have time to write primers for all of them!
Well there is a forum for it (http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?121-MSX), so I would think so... There should be a everything else just in case some feels the need to talk about the Sord / Takara M5, Casio PV-2000, Tomy Pyuta, Toshiba Pasopia... Although I am looking forward to the first post about a Fujitsu FM-7 (or even the FM-77...)
