Today I got Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix on PSN (finally a price drop!) but the PS3 pad it's a shit to play fighting game. Knowing it accepts usb pads, why not try this? A Saturn pad plugged to a Total Control 3 Dreamcast adaptor, the later connected to a DC-USB converter, and finally the converter connected to the PS3. Well, it works! I just need to redefine the buttons actions and start fighting. The only letdown it's that the START button doesn't work, so I can't "Continue" after losing a match. But it's ok, the Saturn pad it's the best controller for fighting :033:
http://cgi.ebay.de/Genuine-Original...oysticks_Game_Controllers?hash=item3359dfc7da Works on a PS3 as well. High quality btw, although I'm pretty sure they're clones (no writing at all on the pcb). I bought two for MAME and they're feeling great.
That's a good bit of improvised connectivity. Although I think Ave's solution might be a bit less cluttered. I had never though to connect 1 of the USB Saturn pads to the ps3. How well does it work Ave?
No latency at all. Works just fine! And yes I know there are better alternatives, but I did it just for fun anyway.
