That's exactly what I was thinking, looking at the guys other items for sale he seems the type...not to be judgemental or anything. If I'm lucky, it'll be Twilight princess and Mario Sunshine.
You may be really lucky to get Twilight princess as well as Mario Sunshine because i'd think he'd haved mentioned that those games come with the cube if he was selling them as they are very good games. If you'e not had a cube before then its a really good system and it is on par with the PS2 and Xbox. I wouldn't say its better than the PS2 or Xbox in terms of what it can do but i prefer it to them.
Mario Sunshine isn't given the credit it deserves. I loved it, and so did my housemates at the time. After Mario 64 I don't think it could ever have lived up to the hype, but it really was a cracking game, and the review scores it got were unfairly low.
I loved sunshine when I bought it at launch but I never finished, I'm looking forward to round two. Twilight princess looks pricey but I have no intention of buying a Wii so I'll be sure to try and get it before I head back to korea. Despite owning a GC for two years there are a few classics I never tried out, Luigi's mansion and Pikmin for example.
Luigi's Mansion is very clearly a launch title, but it's fun enough, and I completed it. Pikmin is fantastic, obviously. Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 4, Rogue Leader, Mario Kart: Double Dash... there's plenty on offer, and they should be cheap by now. What do you mean by "original Marios"? It's not like any platforming Mario games were on the Cube except for Super Mario Sunshine.
Double Dash cheats worse that any other version of Mario Kart IMO. How I hate that game. Of course, it is really meant to be played with humans.
Have you played Mario Kart Wii? I could not stand playing that game. I'd be winning the entire race then right on the last corner all of a sudden, blue shell, bullet bill, and couple of red shells would just come and rape the crap out of me and i'd end up in 7th or 8th. that game was a joke. i'll just stick to my SNES and N64.
If you mean the elastic enemy AI, it's nothing like as bad as MK64. I guess I'm defensive because I think MKD is the best Mario Kart game, and I loved it enough in single player to 100% it. I honestly think the game engine is the nicest out of the bunch.
Thankyou. Finally someone that see's the light! How could Nintendo go from making such a great game, to such a disaster as the Wii version. I just cant stand when some of my friends say how much fun the Wii version is... I dont understand it. SNES Mario Kart takes the crown, but DD is a close second.
Well my cube arrived this morning, the games were unboxed which is no biggy....but... NO VIDEO CABLE!!!!!! I know they're cheap and easy to get seeing as they're the same across all generations of Nintendo but getting to a town or city where I can buy one is not fun and it'll probably end up costing me more than the system did.
resident evil zero, resident evil remake, resident evil 4, metal gear twin snakes.... and the list goes on.
Why is Luigi's Mansion for the GC so underrated? I still remember the day my Japanese GC arrived, only a few days after the japanese lauch. Damn the goose bumps when entering the house, so scary and awsome graphics
If you look back at the launch titles on every other Nintendo system - NES, Super Mario Bros; SNES, Super Mario World; N64, Super Mario 64 - I don't think it's surprising that Luigi's Mansion didn't receive glowing appraisals. Of course, Super Mario Sunshine was along after a while, and it was fantastic, so who cares.
sunshine was ok for a mario game, far from fantastic though.there wasn't much mario about it, franchise-wise if you will. Galaxy on the other hand.. I love it, just love it so much, right there next to Mario 64
Hmm Mario Sunshine never really caught my attention, I kinda quick grew tired of watering all those rainbow colors. Mario 64 was a real improvement to the previous Mario games, Mario Sunshine however was just strange. As for Mario Galaxy, it just seems too much like a batch of mini games...
16 player Double Dash is an incredible amount of fun, something about 4 TVs, beers, talking like a wounded pirate and infectious laughter and screaming that makes it one of the best multiplayer experiences I've ever had. The Cube had some fantastic games, Pikmin, Double Dash, Rogue Leader, Metroid Prime, Wind Waker, Sunshine, Smash Bros. Melee, Resident Evil 4, Eternal Darkness, F-Zero GX, Animal Crossing and more. All are worth checking out if the price is right and the budget allows.
