Well, Pizza Hut is full of morons...

Ordered a pizza for a party tonight online and told them to deliver it at 5:00 PM. What do they do? They fucking tried to deliver it at 3:00 today, when I wasn't home. Now, I have several calls on my answering machine saying they are going to ban my pizza hut account for "Not paying for a pizza".

Fuck them. Dominos is getting my buisness from now on.

Last time I tried to make a pizza, it was more plastic cast then delicious bread with cheese, tomato sauce and meat. Hell, you couldn't even take a bite out of it...

 

Don't you have a real pizzeria nearby then?

 

I don't know why, but the part about them "banning your Pizza Hut account" makes me giggle. No offense intended.

Yeah, it does sound somewhat funny when you think of it. In actuality, I use the online service quite a bit, since I can delay the order for several hours. (I usually throw a LAN party ever month or so). Unfortunatly, the bright folk at pizza hut don't think too well. Last time I ordered a pizza from them, the pizza boy gave me his heat bag and ran off.

 

Try finding an Italian deli. There you will find Italians...and odds are you will find delicious lunch meats...and maybe if you're luck they'll do pizzas.

I haven't had a good piece of pizza since I've lived in Ohio. Every place that someone suggests as "good" ends up tasting like crap. I'm serious. Find large amounts of Italians, find good pizza.

 

never thought online order of pizza ever worked really, they use to have a sevice that would deliver grocerys to your door within a couple of hours, but it quickly faded and didnt catch on, suspect not many people wanted to order grocerycs online as well as paying all that extra money just to have it delivered to the home.

 

we ordered from pizza hut before the superbowl and never got our shit. We called them back all pissed off and they said they cancelled the order because they thought we were joking/prank calling them because there was a lot of noise going on in the background...

never ordered from them since...bitches

 

Pizza Hut has disgusting pizza, as I remember... They had some wierd green shit in the crust one time (it was a standard cheese pizza).

 

There`s a great pizza place near home called " Paparazzi " . Their pizzas are fantastic.

There`s also a Domino`s near home, and although i won`t put them as my first choice, they are good.

But Pizza Hut is terrible. And expensive.

 

Domino's is better anyway. The real pizza resturants in my town are ok, but I prefer Domino's. There is this really good place where my friend lives though.....

 

it's the corn oil that they put on the pizzas that bother me the most, it just feels way too fatty and disgusting.

 

Theres a great pizzeria near downtown where I live that is just awesome. It's called Anthony's Pizzeria. But for late night cravings our local Broadway pizza is open until 3am and they make great new york style pizza.

 

Pizza hut:
Greasy as hell, too fond of red onion

Domino's:
Rolled oats impregnated in the base? I know it makes them easier to remove from the oven, but when the base is that thin it ends up like 10 year old shoe leather. And their tomato sauce is too watery.

You want to get a "real" pizza from a "real" pizzeria or the next best thing, a cheap burger/kebab house, they don't use all the stupid shit in theirs, so you get a decent base and... shock! horror! a decent choice of toppings.

You may get the shits... but at least it tastes nice!

I don't know how far you are from Kentucky but Kentucky and Ohio both have Papa Murphy's Take-n-Bake Pizza. :smt023

I'd take Domino's over Pizza Hut anyday anyway (with the SINGLE exception of when PH had the Chicago Dish, that's was a GREAT pizza). I could live off Domino's thin crust with pineapple...
Blur, being in Ohio DOES have it's advantages... you're as close as you can be to beloved Skyline Chili! I'd do anything to have a Five-Way w/Cheese and a Coney whenever I want!

Guess im lucky we got loads of really nice pizza places in london. About 4/5 near me willing to deliver!

 

I'm not too successful with pizzas. There's no delivery places my side of town, and I live on the stupidest street in the world. My street starts on a main road (which, even more annoyingly is inbetween two other streets ON THE SAME ROAD), and goes off into a cul-de-sac. Problem is the only sign points to the cul-de-sac! Aaarg!

Because of this, Dominoes and Pizza Hut (in the city centre) always give us midly warm pizzas, and this other place the other side of town (Four Star Pizza - they have pretty nice pizzas, and they're cheaper than the other two!) gave us a COLD pizza the last time! And that's why I usually just get a Chinese, because they're a 10 minute walk away :smt023

And I like Pizza Hut pizzas - deep pan is my friend. And the buffet thing they do in the restaurants at certain times is THE BEST THING EVER!

 

pizza hut is puke to me. Dominoes i actualy like (yet for some reason people make them out to be the worse).

Oh well, If you can find one. Order from Papa Johns. That is the best ****ing pizza I have ever had. Also they give you Jalapiño and this wicked garlic sause.

I don't know, but down here, Pizza Hut is pretty good. At least the ones I've ordered from.
But there's this one pizza place that only delivers to the rich section of the city (One of them, anyway. Puerta de Hierro and Colinas de San Javier) that is pretty much the best pizza I ever had in my life. We were shooting a video at a friend's house nearby and that was pretty much what was available.


(and I don't remember what the name of this mythic pizza place is, but it's next to a "Carrefour" supermarket)
