http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/12/20/news_6115370.html First the NFL, now this. I have a feeling that EA is planning something, and it doesn't sound good....
I have a feeling that EA is planning something, and it is to be the only third party publisher on the planet. Well its not like Ubisoft had good games to begin with, other than far cry but thats stretching it too far too. But yes. I think in 5 years, the industry will collapse on itself and the only survivors will be the indie developers.
We could use another one of those crashes...bad development houses go out of business (Yay dev stuff) Everything becomes dirt cheap. Then, a company with a great idea and a great platform sets things right again. <3 Nintendo <3
Crash = Bad. I may try to explain it later, but eh. Only thing I will say is I hope EA eventually gets sued the hell out of and closes.
what? ubisoft is by far one of the best game makers after the japanese, far cry, prince of persia, splinter cell, etc...
Now more than ever, a boycott to avoid EA products is necessary. Vote with your wallets...don't let EA grow any larger than they already are!
I know some ppl who work/worked for EA, working there is like having a steady job that pays well and has health benefits for like a family, however, like any other company that big, it will ultimately fail. Just feel sorry for the good ppl working for them.
This just solidified that I will never ever buy any of EA's games ever again. I wouldn't be surprised if they continue to pull this crap and try to become the "only" 3rd party devco--or at least much more important than they already are. :smt067
and Poland! Seriously, the first Rayman is very good I think, but it went downhill from there (maybe thats just because I don't like 3D platformers)
6 months ago, EA established devellopement team here in montreal. you know what they did? they stoled members of the ubisoft-montreal team.... what a bunch of.... :smt067 !!!
correct me if I am wrong, but farcry was developed by a german company(Crytek Studios), published bei ubisoft
Of course the brothers founders of Ubisoft consider this operatios as hostile. EA wanted to buy too the rights for NBA games but the NBA has said no
