It's been a looooong while since I've been down there, but I don't remember much of interest between the (old twin towers) stadium & the underground station. I certainly don't recollect any shops, although maybe they've tarted the place up since the new stadium redevelopment? (There used to be some interesting architecture left over from the Great Exhibition, but I suspect that a:it's probably gone now & b:it probably wasn't what you were looking for! :110:)

    However, a freebie's a freebie - I'd go!

Wembley itself? Nah, not much to see there. I'd hardly say it was somewhere you'd go for a shopping trip if you're a tourist.

The new stadium is very impressive, though, especially the arch, which can be seen from all over London.

Get in and get out, is my advice.
