We're Back B.C. Gameboy Game Proto Unreleased? Released? Or Name Change?

I've come across a Gameboy Proto which is labelled We're Back B.C. I was wondering if anyone happened to know if this game was released? or if it is just a name change that eventually became We're Back a Dinosaur Story? The game definitely has bugs in it. There are platforms that you have to jump on but you fall straight through no matter how hard you try. I've looked around but I can't find mention of it. I would guess it is just a name change though. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

One was on e-bay a little while ago (maybe a month plus). The seller described it as unreleased. I bid on it, then checked out GameFAQs on it though, and they said that it was indeed released. I ended up getting out bid, which ended up being a good thing anyway. That's about as much as I know about it, I only personally remember the SNES version.

 

Don't trust the Gamefaqs list of released games. It tends to be wrong...often protos are listed as released games.

 

Some pics would be enough to see if it was just a name change or whatever.

I remember having that game, I'm 100% positive, so I'd say it was released.

I know that We're Back a Dinosaur Story is a released game. This game is We're Back B.C. And that's what the title screen says aswell. I'm wondering if it is a different game or the same game but they changed the name before it was released. This game is not listed on Digital Press or Gamefaws well not with this name atleast. How would I go about taking pics? If I stick the game in a Gameboy SP with the light on will a digital camera take a clear enough pic?
