What a Sonic game with touch should be...

Naka just released a video of Ivy the Kiwi, his new platform game for DS, Wii, and I suppose every other touch device out there if successful

What can I say? other than this video beats the crap out of the minewagon one from Sonic4

 

Looks cool, but not like a Sonic game.

 

I know, but what I meant is the innovation in gameplay compared to the latests attempts in sonic games

 

Wow, I've never seen that game before.

I can definitely picture a Sonic game being made with that control scheme.

 

I've been wanting to try out this game for quite some time now, it looks great!

See it before in many DS games. NOT original.

 

Yeah, the control scheme looks similar to that of Kirby Canvas Curse. Looks like it's maybe a little bit more responsive than that game - either that or the person playing it in that video is just really good at it. I think the sepia-tone look might bother your eyes after a while, though. If it actually controls as well as it appears to in that video, then it might be worth a play.

 

Its not original and its an ok game. Not amazing.

I have the JPN DSiware version of it.
