Oh god, my Gf called one day and was like "what are you playing" and I casually said "I'm playing with seaman" and she hung up. lololololo did not think that one through.
I highly recommend Jeremy McGrath Super Cross 2000, WWF Attitude and South Park Chef's Luv Shack. I love them all dearly and cherish them as the key pieces of my collection. Classics.
And don't forget Sega Smash Pack, Mortal Kombat Gold, Fighting Force 2, and Spec Ops. Those games hold a special place in my "Games I don't own" shelf. ......................................except Mortal Kombat.....
I think so, I can't remember how much Japanese is in the game. If you can get to a Japanese strategy game's gameplay, you're probably set.
My personal recomendations: Power Stone Power Stone 2 Shenmue Shenmue II Grandia II Skies of Arcadia Crazy Taxi Crazy Taxi 2 Ooga Booga Rayman 2 MDK2 Zero Gunner 2 Ikaruga Rez Border Down Their are a lot of other good games for the system, but those are the top ones in my book.
I'll just ramble off a bunch of ones I like, then I imagine you can go through everybody's lists and buy the ones that are unanimously considered good games. That's how I'd do it, anyway. Crazy Taxi Power Stone MvC MvC2 Garou: Mark of the Wolves Project Justice Quake 3: Arena Toy Commander Sonic Adventure Sonic Adventure 2 Worms World Party Seaman Chu Chu Rocket MDK 2 Ikaruga Outtrigger Tony Hawk 2 (If you don't already own it on 10 other platforms) I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton...but those came to me off the top of my head...
Do you want to know a really good kick arse game? Get (if you can find it) Gundam E.F.F Vs Zeon & DX by Capcom distributed by Bandai. This is an awesome gundam battle game that makes Virtua On look very dated indeed. I was playing it today for hours. Great graphics, great playability and wonderful audio make this a winner all the way ! http://www.segagagadomain.com/dreamcast-ntsc2/gundam_dx.htm Yakumo
Sweater Fish Deluxe list is great, some other recommended games: D2, Illbleed, Confidential Mission, Cannon spike, F355 Challenge, Maken X, Unreal Tournament... and if Japanese only games are not a problem then it would be possible to add a lot of other good games like Puyo Puyo fever, Sakura Taisen games, Rent-A-Hero, etc
But really, who are you guys kidding? We all know the three titles I mentioned are the absolute best the Dreamcast has to offer.
