There's some people active on SUHS (suhs46.proboards.com), but not many anymore.

SEGA's own boards are pretty busy as well.

Activity in Sega forums in general died down after 06-07, you know when it became clear that they were not going to keep making great games like during the DC, just bullshit rehashes.

Hindsight is a bitch, back in 03 or around that time it looked like that was the way to go, with JSRF, Orta and SegaGT on the Xbox, Billy and Fzero on the GC and VF4 and REZ on the PS2, but now its quite obvious those games were just on the pipeline of the DC (or ports) once its gone its gone.

Theres nothing much to talk about Sega anymore, and you can only talk about Sonic CD, Streets of Rage or some other old game for a while until theres nothing more to say about it.

So unless Sega makes a miraculous comeback my guess is that the communities are going to keep dying.

Modern SEGA is much better than people give them credit for. My only real complaint is that they've ignored at lot of my personal favorite franchises from back in the day.

In recent years they've developed Yakuza, the spiritual successor to Shenmue, Binary Domain, a very underrated and under-appreciated TPS, Valkyria Chronicles, a fantastic strategy game series that was unfortunately ruined by their own stupidity, and the Sonic All-Stars racing games are fantastic. They also published what is quite possibly my favorite JRPG this gen, Resonance of Fate.

As far as I am concerned, SEGA is doing just fine. Obviously not as good as they once were, but considering just how awful a lot of other publishers and developers have become (Square Enix, BioWare, etc), SEGA could be doing much, much worse.

Thats the problem, SEGA used to be above the rest, many of its games were second to none.

Now it really is "just fine", like many other publishers that dont suck but arent doing anything awesome lately.

Yeah, Sega have made a handful of good games since the death of the DC, but when they were still in the hardware business, they made a lot more good stuff in a much smaller time frame.

Agree, I don't care much about the present Sega. I collect old stuff, and the forums I was looking for are of people talking about the old days. For nostalgia's sake.
