What are the recommended lubes/grease/gel/spray for Saturn & Dreamcast Drive repairs?

I need a lube for the plastic cogs and the metal rails so I would be grateful if someone could recommend me the right lube/grease/gel/spray. I've had a look on ebay and all I can find are stuff for car dashboards & swimming pools.

 

A while ago the topic of sticky xbox dvd drives came up and I asked the same question, and was told this is the stuff to use.

I ordered a tube but haven't actually got round to opening up the console and using it as the drive doesn't get used much anyway. But I'd think the same would apply for other consoles.

The carlube came in the post today. I applied some of it to my Dreamcast's plastic cogs and it really does make it a lot more quite.
Now, I just need something for the metal rails. I've been looking at Lithium Grease (normal & white) does any one use this stuff?

I use a Ceramic Grease designed for use in remote controlled cars, everyone seemed to think it's the best choice for greasing up the workings of a console, and is safe for plastics. The brand I have is Tamiya.

 

Why are you buying from eBay? Go to a proper electronics outlet or even a radio controlled car shop. Any of the places listed in my sticky of suppliers would have had the right stuff.
