I spotted this on Yahoo Japan. Seems to be pairs of N64 controllers sharing a singular button on a control box that plug into a phone jack which is fed into a PCB or some sort of electronics system. Could this be from an airline or hotel system for playing games remotely? http://page16.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u106910704
Was there a rival to lodgenet? I have a lodgenet controller somewhere and im pretty sure it has the same plug. Would be great if someone could actually piece together a working system instead of just finding all these controllers.
I never got to take advantage of any hotels that used this. I came across a few when I was a kid, but my parents were never exactly accepting of video games.
My trip to the US back in 1996/7 had Lodgenet. It was crazy expensive, my parents just said 'forget it'.
We had a few snes ones in Australia at some point but im not sure what company did them. Mum and dad flat out refused their prices too though they were pretty exorbitant rates. [STAFF NOTE: Moderated. Read the rules]
