I love all of the "of course" comments. "And of course, I have (game)." heh I love the new games mostly. I haven't unlocked any of the older games, I just play the demos. I'm surrounded by retro consoles in my shop so I don't really think about going retro on the 360. Plus, there's something about the controller that makes the actions seem slow. I think the buttons and stick are too sloppy for retro.
Right now I'm playing: Every Extend Extra (got up to 140 something trillion points on the second song, my high score for the first song is a lowly 40 trillion though). Space Giraffe (44 million) Sonic Sonic 2 And... I think thats it at the moment. There's a lot of stuff I need to do some backtracking for though.
Streets of Rage 2, great port to XBL but the d-pad on the 360 sucks balls for these kinds of games =/
frogger Marble blast ultra worms geometry wars even though its hard a all hell sonic 2 bomberman live and a few others
From what I've seen on the net, sanding down the 360 dpad circle thing helps with 2D games, I'll have to try.
Space Giraffe (again) as the leaderboards have been reset... 400 million seems a long way away. Jetpac Refuelled & Speedball 2.
Although a fun remake, it's nowhere as challenging as the original, even though they ve tried to add the "lag" to the control setup
I moved a few months ago (end of august) and i've yet to unpack my 360 (i did not play it much). I also was going to let my close friend barrow it while he was inbetween jobs (prev dev studio i worked for finaly went under) but he never came and got it (he now actualy bought his own). So my 360 waits in it's box for a reason for me to pull it out. I have a small shelf for my tv which has my xbox (media center) and my ps3 on it.
Personaly I think the pop remake would have worked out better on the PSP & DS (maybe with a direct port of the original 2D version included).
the DS not so much, but the PSP would surely suit a classic POP 3D remake. And that comes from the mouth of a DS owner btw=p
