All of them, including the DC. Reading forums has helped me realize they all suck in their own special way.
Some people forget that video games are not only aimed towards a generation that was around more than 15-20 years ago...
Wow, that's exactly what I have and I sold the Wii too. Though it wasn't so much as it sucks as it was I didn't play it.
Granddad, was it true you used to play games using 3 white blocks and two knobs? Yes indeed, back in the 70s Gosh, that sounds completely gay, where the Xbox 360?
No offence intended, but isn't the Dreamcast classed as *last* generation, despite the fact that Sega haven't made one for this generation? That's like saying that after the X360 and Wii came out, the PS2 was the same generation as them until the PS3 came!
if you decide to chop it off, I ll buy it off your hands for a reasonably friendly price =) PS: I m serious, about the Wii console
Yeah, Dreamcast is winning. Isn't it funny that after the consoles "die" Sega ones always seem more poplar than when they were alive. Yakumo
Had them all but sold the Wii (got bored of the gimmicky controls) and Xbox 360 (Gets boring sending the console back, even the latest model breaks). Got fucking 100s of Dcs...
Sega should do a surprise "relaunch" for the Dreamcast. "Just kidding! First party again! Alright all of the talent that left, come back here and lets start making good games again. Come on now come on!" Oh to dream. :-(
Well thats a classic with everything, from ancient civilizations, to obsolete ideologies and dead brands. My belief is that after 7 years without SEGA most people was able to forget all the bad shit they made, but keep their memories of how fun those games were, and how awful is that they arent making any (like those) these days. Well after I heard from this DC-on-a-chip from Renesas I wondered why SEGA didnt make a portable out of it, since that market is considerably cheaper than (home)consoles. Of couse that happened back when the GBA was the only portable in town, so that place is already sorta covered by the PSP. But after the Wii I cant help but think that just as they went against the Nes back in the 80s, SEGA should re-enter the race creating an alternative to the Wii. Sales show this console is no longer a 2nd-option like the GC was, but it has created its own market, with the only almost-rival being the PS2 (which is outperformed in every front but price). A SEGA console with even better motion controllers (on par with the new accesory Nintendo announced) and more powerful (not like a X360 but between generations) isnt crazy at all, and with SEGA's profits taking a dip again (shitty games anyone?) such an idea could become interesting for the company. Man, having Nintendo and SEGA fighting like in the old days, that would be awesome:nod::thumbsup:
I d invite you to try the new MotionPlus accessory, see if you change your mind about it being a gimmick. 1:1 precision controls on the Wii is what it should have been and I think the age of the Wii is just starting for those gamers who were into the 1:1 thing since the beggining (but then found out it was a gimmick). The Wii does have quite a few quality titles that are irrespective of motion controls - and you can't argue over IR aiming, it's a winner by default. But I guess it all comes down to what games you enjoy =)
