Not that i'm bored right now *cough* but i think thats interesting. Even more interesting is, that most gamers don't play a game when they're bored, cause is what they're bored off...so what do you do? I use to clean up the showcase and wipe the dust off and so on. And of course re-arrange games if i moved them
Similar to what you do, I clean up my room. I like when it's clean, so it's not that boring to do. After I'm done with that, I'll usually watch television.
I seriously haven't been *bored* in many years. Just so much to do. However, if I'm *demotivated* or tired of sitting on my ass, I read a good book or go for a long walk in the great outdoors.
That is the truth. I haven't bought/played a console game in months. Well, I've played here and there, but I haven't actually sat down with the intention of making progress in any game... While in class, I usually daydream (and what dreams they are...). When I'm at home, I usually put on some trance and start reading whatever is on my hard drive at the moment (game guides, manuals, The Sardius Experience CGE2k2 "documentary" ).
Um, I clean up my room, too. Sometimes I take the games down and take pictures. I also think about how I can add more space in my room, too. If everything is spic and span then, I watch tv, go on the internet, or play games.
Bored at work: usually chat with colleages or read the newspaper since we don't have internet acess Bored at home: clean up room, read something, watch tv/movies, download porn (which would explain the 200 gigs of it)
Browse the assembler board  Or grab a random newspaper (there's always plenty lying around in my quarters) and read something.
Don`t get bored that often................... If at work have on MSN or checking here most of the time, or other game shop sites to see what bargains are to be had, so more games can pile up and never be played :noooo: At home have just had cable installed so loads more channel`s to flick through, piles of games that occasionally get played. Or the kids and wife to beat
Bored at work: browse Assembler, or email some friends Bored at home: don't really get bored as I've got enough to do usually
I never get bored at home as I always have at least 20 new rpgs on the shelf ready to play, either that or a shooter or fighter if I only have half an hour to spare. As for work, internet and watching match videos. Or I get myself a coffee, which can take a solid 10 minutes if you can find someone to chat to.
Bored at work: Come here or surf the net or read a book I brought from home. Bored at home: I dont really get bored at home.
Easy, I play some Counter-Strike 1.6 or some N64 emulators. When those get boring, I call my cousin...
It's odd, but true - when I'm bored, I rarely turn to games as a method of staving off the boredom. I usually waste time on the internet, read a book, go for a bike ride, head down to the library, or play guitar when boredom strikes. Oddly enough, situations where I sit down and pick up a controller are me at my most motivated. If nothing can seem to pick me up out of my funk, however, I'll usually scan my games collection long and hard - chances are, I'll often stumble across some forgotten gem and be compelled to sink a few hours into it.
I hardly play games now I useally fill time with tax forms clean up, at work I go for a walk- the hanger is 1/2 mile long..... or go do the coffee machine shuffle
