I have about 20 PS2 football/sports games sitting in a box, I have never played them and don't even like sports games but they ended up in my collection, they are not worth selling because they are only worth about the same as the 10p ebay listing fee and I can't be arsed lugging them to town for £2 and that's even if they will buy them, but it feels like such a waste throwing them away.

I know there is a Items for Free section on here but the postage will cost 5 times their value.

Give them to a charity shop, or see if a local hospital will be interested. Otherwise you could stick it up on Gumtree for free, someone will likely come take them off your hands.

Next time you sell a game, toss one or two in there. DVD cases are great to use as packing material. You get rid of some unwanted games and the buyer gets a little bonus. I do this with old movies/games from time to time.

I have some early japanese PS1 games plus lots of Fifa's i got on a package purchase. Their sell price would be so low i just keep them on my collection. Charities and hospital aren't interested either.

If you live in America, the Salvation Army.

I've never donated anything though even though I have some of those worthless EA sports games for the Genesis/MegaDrive, maybe I should get rid of them as I never play them.

Make them into useful reproductions if they're SNES/NES/Genesis carts.

I bet you could get £12 or so for all of them, which isn't much - but if it's simply a matter of taking them to a local store, it might be worth the effort. It would be better than just throwing them in the garbage. Alternatively, you could use them for target practice.

I use their cases to replace damaged ones on good games.

Rest is frisby/freebie materials to make deals 'sweeter'

As people have already said, I would either use the cases to replace others/keep as spares or use them as packaging for larger parcels (people always like a freebie, even if it's Fifa).

If the games are in working order then I from time to time do donation rounds at the local children's hospital - there's a decent amount of older kids that are retro gamers surprisingly enough and have enjoyed both the older, newer ones I've brought in (though with a lot of the older ones particularly RPGs, I usually get messages from people to go in and show them how to get past parts on the games).

Otherwise if I'm selling something and I know the person buying something off me is interested in particular things, I tend to throw those sorts of things in as freebies - I had a bunch of CT2 trial copies and a few people wanted some CT guidebooks and stuff off me, so I just threw them in.

If the discs are damaged or have some sort of rot - I check everything I buy as soon as I get it, if the seller won't give me a refund then I tend to give those shitty/broken discs to my Mother who in turn uses them for different creative projects she does in her free time to relax (mosaics and other stuff) so that's helped me get rid of a box of stuff I just couldn't seem to move as a game store I was just going to donate a couple of boxes of stuff to just to clear up some space because I couldn't be bothered to deal with eBay or other site shit (people coming over for boxes of free games and then as they check out my partner's and my own collection proceeding to ask if they can have stuff on the shelves which wasn't mentioned in the freebie listing - no, you can't have those sealed MGS LE copies *facepalm*).

So, so far I'm glad my Mother has found some creative stuff to use old discs for... I can actually get to my desk in the spare room without tripping over boxes now!

I save them for replacement cases on game boxes covered in stickers.

I take the cases and keep them for replacements. I offered them for free on here before [just the inserts and CD's] but nobody really wants them so I keep the CD's on a spindle for target practice when I used to go airsofting.

Charity Shop, this is the way I go with unwanted junk games, old Fifas and the like.
Someone makes a few bob and it goes to a good cause, and you get your parking validated!

Exactly , toss a extra in once in awhile people well most people usually appreciate it. I do this a lot by throwing in an extra, people seem to like it and it takes shit off my shelf ;)
