Never had any luck preordering games; always had to wait an extra day for some reason (late shipping, not enough copies, store opened all of the copies, etc.). Never had a problem picking up a game same day.

Looking forward to AC2, SC:C and the full release of FF4: The After Years.

 

I preorder on amazon with Next Day Shipping.

Oh I left out Raiden IV, I keep forgetting that's comming.

I've got Modern Warfare 2 and Assassins Creed II Preordered now, but I'm gonna work on getting Halo 3 ODST as well.

A seemingly unending supply...

 

Every game I've ever pre-ordered has been available for the entire week everywhere I looked, so I stopped. Why give a company 5 bucks to collect interest on for free to hold a copy of a game that in a month will be worth 15 dollars less than it's retail price .

If you're asking which games I'm excited about (excited about enough to pre-order if I was an idiot ) then I'd have to say the following in order of need:

1. Darksiders
2. Katamari Forever
3. GT 5
4. Assassin's Creed 2
5. Uncharted 2
6. Tekken 6
7. Sin and Punishment 2

That's about it. Darksiders is going to own my soul, as will GT 5 .

I have nothing preordered. Not that I ever buy games retail anyhow, but now I no longer buy games unless it's something I'll be playing forever. I use gamefly/DD now and am selling almost all my games.

The one reason to pre-order is by looking back at the launch week of Street Fighter 4. At least here in Southern California it was impossible to find launch week without a preorder and there were literally lines of people waiting to pick up their copies.

Now this is pretty rare but it does happen. I have Blaz Blue pre-ordered just in case.

 

I did the same so I can have the sweet Extras that come with Blazblue!

Now I'm hearing AFTER I preordered that Tekken 6 might get a Special edition!
