So far, I have paperwork to go with 3 of my SNES dev game circuit boards. It's just a sheet(or sheets) that tells you about the board, what the parts are on it, and what the solder spots do (ie, how to make it highrom or lowrom, etc). One thing I've noticed is that all 3 have EP & a number in the upper left corner. So basically, I'm curious if anyone else has board paperwork like this and if you can help me learn what more boards are or if you might share paperwork. Known ones so far: EP 4 = SHVC-2Q5B EP 7 = SHVC-4PV5B EP 10 = SHVC-8PV5B -Picture at Matthew Callis's site: http://eludevisibility.org/ep10-shvc-8pv5b-spec-sheet/ EP 20 = SHVC-4RB3B7S (superfx gsu2) Boards w/o known EP numbers: SHVC-1RA3B6S-01 (superfx gsu1a-thanks MatthewCallis) SHVC-1P0N (single eprom board-thanks MatthewCallis) SHVC-2P3B (2 eprom board) SHVC-8X7B (sa-1) SETA ESP-0019C / SHCV PCB (ie: Exhaust Heat 2-thanks MatthewCallis) BSMC-CR-01 (Satellaview MaskROM cart, not rewritable, ie: FEoEZ Same Game-thanks MatthewCallis)
I've never really noticed before, but sequential numbering for all proto-pcbs sounds very reasonable. Sadly, I'm missing all the instructions for the more interesting pcbs, aswell. I guess the ep numbering is just for prototypes, as it most likely stands for eprom and there never were any production carts with eproms on them.
Matthew, could you provide a scan for that, by any chance? I have that pcb but am missing the instructions.
Here's two without EP numbers: SHVC-1RA3B6S-01 (Super FX Board: GSU1A) SHVC-1P0N-01 (Single EEPROM Chip Board)
Here are a few more board numbers, not necessarily all development but interesting none the less: SETA ESP-0019C / SHCV PCB (ie: Exhaust Heat 2) BSMC-CR-01 (Satellaview MaskROM cart, not rewritable, ie: FEoEZ Same Game)
