What file on a gdrom game contains the game picture shown in the DC music player?

On many official GDrom copies of games a special disc picture pops up when you have the gdrom in the drive and go to the dreamcast music player in the bios menu. I always thought it was interesting that CDr burns of games could never display the picture. I didn't know if this was because of the bios not recognizing it as a gdrom, or it being in some extraneous file from the first small data area of the gdroms that is never part of a release group's ISO, or some other explanation.

I was kind of curious if anyone knows how this whole thing works if anyone can shed some light.

It is, if you convert to png and add a autorun.inf to a gdi to cdi conversion it will show the logo when inserted into a PC as well. I do it to all my rips.

The BIOS will only display 0GDTEX if the disc is actually a GD. So yes, it is what you said it's like.
