What got you in to collecting?

i got into collecting due to a combination of OCD and the internet, once i realised how much stuff was out their, why would you not want to collect it all

 

Tomb Raider and N64.

And maybe Sonic (get all the rings, Chaos Emeralds, good future) and Pokémon (self explanatory).

Oh! And Diablo too! (I remember filling the Town floor with stuff lol)

And Twinsen' Odissey too! (so much fun "living" in that world for a while)

 

Half-life being awesome

 

Some years ago, all my video games from my childhood were stolen from my apartment. I felt sad about losing a big part of my childhood, so I decided to build it up again.

Also, feeling a need to get the most out of the games I really loved when I was younger got me into betas, alphas and prototypes. When I found out some info on SMB3, like some parts (characters, levels) that was removed from the final version, that really made my day. Not to mention when I saw the scrapped sequel for SMW, Super Mario's Wacky Worlds.
