I do not recommend the Brawl Pad. The Dpad is just plain horrible. All Mad Catz had to do was make the plastic soft and they screwed the pooch.

I remember that Xbox pad, J&R was selling it a few years ago. I wanted one of those but procrastinated.

I had a black one of those but one of the analogue sticks had a fault on it and kept pulling to the right all of the time :( Great pad though when only using the D-Pad.

that really sucks, must be a factory problem, I've had 1 problem and because of button mashers, definitely a controller for experienced gamers but nothing a good cleaning can't fix, still wish people would stop jabbing at the buttons like it's a wack a mole. me and my gf use them for ourselves exclusively now.

Yeah, Hori are normally solid products. I guess I bought a faulty one. I actually use Hori pads for my SFC and PS2. Both are way better than the 1st party pads, especially on the PS2. I also have a Hori stick for my 360.

yea i have the HORI Xbox 360 Fighting Stick EX2 it's 4 way so it's great for fighters but some people have said other genres can be a bit wonky, i have not seen a difference honestly at least in late 80's 90's games/ect.

BTW I been checking google patents and while there are tons of patents from sega for nearly everything (even the batarang shape of the original 3-button genesis pad) I couldnt find one specifically about the 6-button pad or the ABC+XYZ scheme
