what is a GameCube NR Reader?

    your going to have to pay a lot for them. One sold on ebay recently for $600+. Assembler should still have more.

    They are the grey boxes in assemblers collection topic on the couch.

    Ah, right, I figured that's what you meant but was not sure :) - there are 2 versions of it too it appears, a blue and a grey version (any difference other than cosmetic?) - so technically i'd have to get one of each to have a "complete" collection haha ^_^ - and then one of those midi tower ones (of which he only has 2, thus i assume GIGGA$$$$$ to buy >.<).

  7. Grey version = NPDP-GBOX

    Blue version = NPDP-GDEV

    ...Massive difference between the two!

    GBOX = Debug Kit, fully dependant on having a NPDP cart being fitted to 'operate'. No cart = Big grey metal box. :smt043

    GDEV = Development Kit, with fully independant optical disc emulation thus not reliant on NPDP cart fitment in any way, shape or form. :smt045
